Willene Holloway, 81, went home to be with the Lord on March 17, 2010. She was born in Covin, AL, and was a member of Rolling Acres Alliance Church. Willene's favorite activity was being with her family. Preceded in death by her parents, Andrew & Dollie Fowler; and her loving husband of 51 years, Elmer; brothers, Roy Fowler, M.C. Fowler, and Harold Fowler; and sisters, Hazel Freeman, and Faye Leon. She is survived by her children, William (Carolyn) Holloway, and Linda Stout; grandchildren, Michelle Zambrano, Lisa (Ron) Kramer, Lorrie (Bob) Holloway, Chris (Joe) Heffernan, Robert (Courtney) Stout, and Beth (Steve) Ingram; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Gaylon (Elaine) Fowler; many loving nieces and nephews; and special friend, Ruth (Frank) Whited. Calling hours will be held Friday, March 19, from 5 to 8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a service will be held Saturday, March 20, at 9:00 am with Pastor Andy Smith and Rev. William Gilliam officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
