William A. Browder
William A. Browder, 91, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, passed away January 4, 2013. Bill was born on September 20, 1921 in St. Albans, West Virginia to the late William H. and Lilly M. Browder.
Bill was a prominent builder and contractor in the Akron area. As a master carpenter, he also restored historical buildings in Peninsula. He was a member of the Home Builders Association. In his free time, Bill enjoyed gardening and tending to his roses.
At the age of 82, Bill became one of Jehovah's Witnesses and he especially enjoyed sharing the good news of God's Kingdom with others (Matt. 24:14).
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 58 years, Norma (nee Sayre) and their children, Alicia (Roger) Hartman of Akron and Valerie (Terry) Owens of Florida. He also leaves his children, Becky (Jim) Curneen of Washington, Steve (Pat) Cummings of California, Harriet (Steve) Derosset of California, and Mike (Debbie) Cummings of Colorado; fifteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the Cuyahoga Falls Kingdom Hall, 3806 State Rd. on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 7:00 p.m., with John McKeel officiating.
