William D. Allshouse
October 4, 1937 — January 12, 2017
William D. Allshouse, 79, passed away on January 12, 2017 after his courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Akron, Ohio on October 4, 1937 to the late William L. and Gladys Allshouse (nee Fulmer). Bill was a wonderful father, grandfather, great-grandfather, avid bowler and Army Veteran.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Diane L. Allshouse (nee Spohn), son William D. Allshouse, grandson, Patrick L. Wylie and brother Larry C. Allshouse.
He is survived by his daughter Jean Criss (Tim), son Michael E. Allshouse Sr. (Mary), daughter Tammy L. Allshouse, daughter-in-law Mary E. Allshouse, brothers Richard (Sandy), Teddy (Rhoda,) Glen (Elaine), Joe and sister Peggy Lybrook, along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Friday, January 27, 2017 from 10 am until time of memorial service beginning at 12 pm noon at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron. Procession to Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery following service.
