William L. Bergdorf
William L. Bergdorf, 69, formerly of Akron, passed away in Columbus, Ohio on November 12, 2005. William retired from Akron General Medical Center after many years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wynona; parents, Jack and Arello Bergdorf; brother, John Bergdorf; and sister, Betty Ash. He is survived by his children, Melinda (Jonathan) Schroeder and John Bergdorf; stepchildren, Janie Robbins, Becky Stahl, Larry Pepper, Garry Pepper, and Ernest Pepper; sister, Shirley (Louie) Bilinovich; grandchildren, Brandon Bergdorf, Madeleine Rose Schroeder, and Ryan Bergdorf; seven stepgrandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. with Rev. John Wilson officiating.
