William "Bill" Campbell

William "Bill" Campbell, 73, of Ellet, passed away September 10, 2016 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Bill was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was born in Akron on August 17, 1943 and was a graduate of Kent State High School. He graduated from Malone College and Hammel Actual Business College where he met his wife, Sandy. He loved all sports, especially golf and football. After retiring from Summa Health Systems, he spent many Friday evenings attending local high school football games.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra "Sandy," and his parents, Ralph and Beulah Campbell. He will be sadly missed by his brother, Thomas (Judy) Campbell of Ravenna; son, James (Lisa Brawley) Campbell of Brimfield; daughter, Shari Campbell (William) Lotz; grandson, Michael Lotz of Atlanta, GA; and many loving family members and friends.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Brawley family, Dr. Breaux, Dr. Myers, Compassionate Care Hospice, and the Gardens of Western Reserve nursing team. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. A private interment service will be held at Hillside Memorial Park.
