William Calvin Propst

William "Bill" Calvin Propst, 76, of Mogadore, passed away February 18, 2014. He was born in Parkersburg, WV on January 25, 1938 to the late Howard and Virginia Propst. Bill retired from Consolidated Freightways after 43 years of service, earning many awards including 3 million accident-free miles.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Fred and sister, Freda Propst-Craft. Bill is survived by his sisters, Carolyn J. Propst-Riley, Elma Propst-Semko and Wanda Propst-Church; children, Michael, Bryon, Bill, Deborah, Chris and Mike; grandchildren, Kinsey, Kaylee, Aaron, Eric, Chase, Taylor, Zoie and Lauren; great-grandson, Aiden; many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call on Saturday, February 22, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305. A funeral service will follow calling hours at 12 p.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Guardian Angel Hospice, 2641 S. Arlington Rd., Akron, OH 44319.
