William A. Chesrown

William "Bill" A. Chesrown, 68, of Akron, passed away on August 16, 2018. Bill was born in Akron on August 9, 1950 to the late William R. and Mary E. Chesrown. He worked as a tow truck driver at Johnny's Towing for over 30 years. He had a passion for motorcycles, estate sales, and minions. Bill had a huge heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was hero to many.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Ahna; and his brother, Stephen Chesrown.

Left to cherish Bill's memory are his daughter, Amanda Chesrown; step-son, Darrell Schaffer; step-daughter, Mindy Schaffer; grandchildren, Alli, Jaxon, and Calvin; honorary daughter, Megan Kring; best friend and partner-in-crime, Joe (Darla) Eggert and their children, Tana (Gustin) Eggert and Joey Eggert.

Friends and family are welcome to visit Newcomer 131 N. Canton Rd., on Friday August 24, 2018 from 5pm to 7pm.
