William W. "Bill" Clow III passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on June 26, 2023 at the age of 76. He was born to William and Marjorie Clow in Cleveland, Ohio on December 29, 1946. He attended Conotton Valley High School and after graduation he went on to work for General Tire in Marion, Indiana. After a few years, he moved back to Ohio and retired from MacTac after 41 faithful years. He married the love of his life on August 6, 1965 in Sherrodsville, Ohio. Bill was a member of Maranatha Bible Church for several years. Before retirement, Bill enjoyed golfing in his free time as well as hunting, fishing and camping. After retiring, he was blessed to take many trips with Peggy, family and friends. Bill participated in several mission trips and had the opportunity to minister to those incarcerated through CBCF. His biggest love was spending time with his family and loving the Lord with all his heart. He will be dearly missed.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of almost 58 years, Peggy Clow; daughters, Lisa (Rick) Anthony, Lori (Mark) King, Kimberly (PJ) Sandor and Kandice (Rod) Smith; grandchildren, James (Jill), Sean (Dani) and Dana Anthony, Bailey, Bradley and Billie Jo King, Kaylee (Drew) Hershberger, Tyler (Kylie), Ema and Bodi Sandor, and Cooper and Chase Smith; great-grandchildren, Henry Hershberger and Gwen Anthony; sisters, Margie Ann (Leroy) Hoffee and Barbara Coffy; and many other relatives and friends.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
All are welcome to visit on July 7, 2023 at 1pm at Maranatha Bible Church (1424 Killian Road, Akron, Ohio 44312). A Memorial Service will follow at 2pm with Pastor Bruce Rosa officiating.
