William D. Hoffman, 75, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away May 11, 2009 at his residence. He was born March 26, 1934 in Akron, Ohio. He worked as a warehouse manager for AVI Food Systems. William is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Connie S. (Dean) Hoffman; daughters, Connie M. Hoffman and Brenda (Dave) Holden; sons, Jeff (Diane) Hoffman, Billy Hoffman and Bob (Melissa) Hoffman; 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, May 14 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron beginning at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Kevin DeJournett officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until the service begins. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Summa, 444 N. Main St., Akron OH 44398-6153.
