Jackson was born on January 7, 1945 to Willie and Esther Jackson in Detroit, Michigan and later moved to Akron, Ohio at an early age. His mother and father preceded him in death and one sister Etta Murphy. He leaves to mourn his passing one sister, Patricia A. Poteete of Akron; one son, Orrin Montane, of Florida; a special cousin Nicole Walker; one aunt Laura Hunley of Detroit, Michigan; a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
