William L. Dunnington

William L. Dunnington "Bill", 74, went home to be with the Lord on September 22, 2018.
He was born in Akron on May 2, 1944 to the late Abe and Mildred Dunington.
Bill proudly served in the Army National Guard and retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber after 41 years of service. He attended Maranatha Bible Church. Bill was a talented artist and created many oil paintings and airbrush portraits. He also dabbled in knife building and leather working. He loved all sports and enjoyed tennis, golf, bowling, boating, and motorcycles. He took great pride in his yard and spent countless hours gardening.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Tom Dunnington. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 53 years, Barbara; son, Joe Dunnington; brother, Roger (Becky) Dunnington; aunt, Sue Grogan; many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 10-12 followed by a 12 noon memorial service at Maranatha Bible Church, 1424 Killian Rd., Akron, OH 44312. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice.
