William Everette Romine

William Everette Romine, 94, passed away on July 1, 2013. He was born on August 29, 1918 in Ravenswood, WV to the late George and Audrey Romine. Bill was a longtime Akron resident and worked for many years as an auto body repairman. He married the love of his life, Ada Alvalee "Dutch" Leach, on December 5, 1944. Bill will be remembered for his stories, gentle nature and his great love for his family.

Bill is survived by his 3 Daughters; Judy Romine of Scottsdale, AZ, Patty (Larry) Davis of Springfield Twp, OH and Sally (John) Dubravetz of Scottsdale, AZ, Grandchildren; Jodi (Dan) Johnson, Shane (Patty) Davis and Joe (Missy McDonald) Davis, Great Grandchildren; Ashley, Jake, Lexi and Jason, Sister, Shirley Essex of Akron, OH; Special Nephew, Mark Essex, many relatives, friends and neighborhood kids. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife, 'Dutchie', Brothers, John and Joe Romine, Stepmother, Lessie Romine and Stepbrother, Woody Herman.

Friends may call 6-8 PM on Friday, July 5, 2013 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Millheim Baptist Church, 2661 Hayne Rd, Akron, OH 44312. Final resting place will be at Hillside Memorial Park.
