William F. Osborne

William F. "Bill" Osborne, 77, passed away on Wednesday, February 12. 2014. He was born on May 4, 1936 in Kenova, West Virginia to the late Jack and Alline Osborne. Bill was a very loving father and husband. He served his country in the U.S. Navy and retired from Ohio Edison (Gorge plant) in 1992.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and wife Helen Osborne. He is survived by daughter Jackie Osborne of Akron, OH, sisters Marlene (Roy) Stanley of Ashland, KY and Patricia (Robert) Smith of New Franklin, OH, niece Angie (Dennis) VanFossen of New Franklin, OH, great niece Ashley VanFossen of Ellet, OH, great nephew Dennis VanFossen, Jr. of New Franklin, OH and his loving companion Marilyn McCormick of Akron, OH.

Friends and family may call 2-4 pm Sunday, February 16, 2014 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. Final resting place will be at Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland, Kentucky.
