William (Bill) G. Saffell
William (Bill) G. Saffell, 78, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away April 13, 2011. He was born January 12, 1933 in Bath, OH to the late Deverne and Pauline Saffell. He served in the U.S. Army out of Ft. Eustis, Virginia. Bill worked in sales for many years and discovered his passion for auctioneering after retirement. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and working as a Cuyahoga Falls Schools crossing guard. Bill was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Havlik. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 57 years, Betty; children, Mark (Teressa) Saffell, Laura (Frank) Zodnik, and Lisa (Mike) Kellerhoff; grandchildren, Wendy (Jon) King, Jessica (Chris) Matthews, Katie Saffell, and Kristyn Kellerhoff; great-grandchildren, Brandon and Hayden King, Malachai Heritage, and Mallory Matthews. Visitation will be Saturday, April 16th from 1-2:30 followed by a 2:30 p.m. memorial service, Rev. Michael Shaub officiating, at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd.
