William Dallas Greer

William "Bill" Dallas Greer, 76, of Akron, passed peacefully at home with his family on November 17, 2023. He was born on December 4, 1946 in Akron, Ohio to the late George and Marymae Greer. He served his country in the US Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. Bill loved to fish, loved his family, and loved to fish.
He was preceded in death by his two brothers and sister.
Bill will deeply missed by his daughter, Kara (Jon) Triplett; grandson, Jared Dallas Triplett (Mercedes Maurer); sister, Margie Jackson; nephew, John Kridler; special friend, Bonnie Hobbs; and all of his fishing buddies from over the years.
Per Bill's request, there will be no public services. He will be privately laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
