William H. Hamblin
William H. Hamblin, 57, of Akron, went to be with the Lord on September 5, 2006. Bill retired from the U.S. Navy and earned many awards during his service. In June of 1999, Bill met his personal savior, Jesus Christ. He was a devoted member of Ernest Angley's Grace Cathedral, where he received many miracles and healings. He had a heart to do the Lord's will and cheerfully volunteered his time and made many sacrifices for the Lord. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Alfreda and his brother, Dick. He is survived by his wife, Jeanine; sons, Michael and Bill (Sandy); brothers, Dave (Evelyn) and Jim (Maureen); grandchildren, Jeremy and Andrea; and his many brothers and sisters in Christ at Grace Cathedral. Family and friends may call on Monday from 6-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 11-12 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 12 p.m. with Revs. Christopher Machamer and Brock Miller officiating. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
