William "Tom" Hanks
William "Tom" Hanks, 60, of Uniontown, passed away August 21, 2006 at Akron City Hospital. He was born May 26, 1946 in Akron, Ohio to the late Homer & Irene (nee Thomas) Hanks. Tom was a great husband, father and grandfather who was very giving and caring. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Elda Hughes and cousin, Larry Hanks. He is survived by his wife, Linda (nee Hughes) Hanks; daughter, Kimberly Hanks-Paulino; son, Thomas (Denise) Hanks; grandchildren, Christopher, Anthony, Alyssa, Mitchell, Corey, Sarah, Victoria, Taylor and Jessie; father-in-law, Walter Hughes; sister-in-law, Judy (Randy) Dean; faithful dog and best friend, Einstein.
