William T. Huber

William T. "Burt" Huber, 77, passed away unexpectedly on April 19, 2023. Born in Akron, Ohio to William and Murel (Conley) Huber, he was a lifelong area resident. Burt worked for many years as a union roofer for Local #88. He enjoyed stock car racing, listening to Bob Golic on the radio, hanging out with his racing buddies, and spending time with his family.

Burt will be sadly missed by his sons, Brian (Theresa) Huber, Thomas Huber; grandchildren, Tyler, Danielle (Matt) Kachner; great-grandchildren, Kinsley, Khloe; former spouse, Terry Fogle; siblings, Winnie (Bob) Sloat, Judy (Rob) Donel, Timmy (Mickey) Huber; several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 5 to 6 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Burt's name to the charity of their choice.
