William J. Mcgaffick

William J. McGaffick, 45, passed away suddenly on Friday, July 15, 2016. William was born on January 8, 1971 in Wadsworth, Ohio to his father, Rick McGaffick and mother, Roseanne Caplinger. He was employed by Omnova Solutions Inc. for over 25 years. William was always willing to lend a helping hand to everyone he knew. He was very passionate about his interests and hobbies which included cars, motorcycles and being a diehard Steelers Fan. Bill was loved by all of his family and friends, especially loyal to his daughter Paige.

He was a Go Big or Go Home kind of guy.

William is preceded in death by his step-father, Roger Caplinger and father, Rick McGaffick.

He is survived by his daughter, Paige McGaffick; step-daughters Andrea and Hannah, his mother Roseanne Caplinger, and sister Rene Golden. Along with many friends and family who will miss Bill dearly.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, Ohio 44305. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 11 a.m. also at Newcomer Funeral Home.

Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery.
