William Fred Kester

William "Fred" Kester, age 91 of Akron passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 26, 2021. A lifelong resident of Akron, Fred was born to the late William and Hazel {Hadley} Kester.
In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by his loving wife, Rose.
Fred is survived by his twin brother Willard (Frances) Kester; sister Mary Lou Millhoff; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Fred retired from Firestone Tire & Rubber, where he made many friends over the years. He and Rose loved to travel, returning often to their favorite beaches each winter. They both loved shopping the flea markets and finding the best deals.
Friends and family are welcome to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, 44305 on Thursday, June 3 from 4:30 p.m. until the start of the 6:00 p.m. memorial service. To leave a message for Fred's family, please scroll below.
