William L. Klansek

Together Again.

William L. Klansek, 87 passed away March 17, 2021 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Bill was born in Akron, Ohio on August 27, 1933. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S Antietam #36. Bill worked for Bell Music, McNeil Akron, Mohawk Rubber, Polisar and he eventually retired from Kobelco. He greatly enjoyed lively political conversations, good food and beer, as well as polka music.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Margie; parents, Frank and Sophie (Hetty) Klansek; brother, Robert Klansek; sisters, Josephine Monk, Shirley Klansek. He will be sadly missed by son, David (Rose) Bolyard; brothers, Frank Klansek, Edward Klansek; close friends, Wanda and Frank.

Family and friends are invited to visit Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will immediately follow at 12 noon at the funeral home. Due to Covid-19 concerns please expect to wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bill's name to the Falls Cancer Club, P.O. Box 3244, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44223.
