William Lloyd Benham, Jr. 60, of Jackson Twp., passed away July 14, 2012. He was born in Youngstown, OH on December 13, 1951 to the late William and Ethel Benham.
Bill served in the US Army with two tours of duty in Vietnam. Bill enjoyed working with youth in his younger days, bowling, riding his motorcycle and driving his Chrysler 300. He loved working crossword and brain teaser puzzles, but most of all he loved being with his grandbabies, young and old.
Bill is survived by his wife of 10 years, Peggy; children, Bryan, BillBill (Sheri), Heather (Mike Vespro); Laura (Keith) Stack, Larry, Nikki (Ken) Osborne; grandchildren, Logan, Jimmy, Michael, Critter, Alyssa (Liffa), William (PT), Jaelah, Hailey, Bri, Zoers, Willy, Jazzy, Hunter and Aaron; great-grandchild, Helaina; uncle, Tommy Flink; aunt, Tuyet Flink.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, July 17, from 4-6 PM at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where a funeral services and military honors will be at 6 PM with Rev. Gloria Slaughter officiating. Following the service, the family would like to invite family and friends to the VFW Post 4738, located on 3733 Fishcreek Rd., Stow, OH from 7-10 PM.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
