William Carpenter,62, of Akron, passed away June 14, 2013. He was born in Akron on August 16, 1950 to the late Ralph and Alma Carpenter. Bill dedicated his life to spoiling his wife and loving his family.
He was preceded in death by his father-in- law and mother-in-law Delmer and Ina McCallister; brother-in-law, Ronnie McCallister.
Bill is survived by his wife of 44 years, Bonnie; children, Angela (Carl) Johnson, Ralph J. (Teala) Carpenter; William L. (Jessica) Carpenter II; grandchildren, Mariah, Mikayla, Julian, Jalena, Jaelyn, Jordan, Mariah, Maddie and Aiden; brother, Dave (Donna); sister, Marsha (Gary) Sword; brother-in-law, Les (Shirley) McCalister; special companion, Sookie.
Family and friends can call on Tuesday, June 18 from 5-7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where a memorial serive will follow at 7 p.m. with military honors. with Rev. Terry Baker officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to American Heart Association
