William Dakota Lybrook, 19, of Akron, passed peacefully in his home on June 2, 2018. Dakota was born on September 28, 1998 in Akron, OH. He graduated in 2017 from Tallmadge High School, and went on to work with Viaquest.
Dakota was a resilient young man who over came many barriers throughout his life, and ultimately achieved success in many areas. One of his biggest recent accomplishments while transitioning into young adulthood was obtaining his own apartment. He never knew a stranger, and he touched the lives of all who knew him.
Dakota's smile was contagious and he loved giving bear hugs. He enjoyed holiday and birthday celebrations, bowling, and the outdoors, but his greatest joy in life came from his love of the WWE. Some of his favorite wrestlers were John Cena, Kane, and the Undertaker. Dakota also loved Spongebob and superheros (Spiderman in particular). His passionate knowledge impressed and educated everyone he knew.
Dakota loved his family dearly, and especially his niece, who he was very proud and protective of.
Dakota was proceeded in death by his Grandma Mickey (Gloria Lybrook); Grandpa Denny (Dennis Roddie); and great-grandparents, Betty and Bob Falstick.
Left to cherish Dakota's memory are his mother, Renee (Robert Balcer II) Lybrook (Rowe); sisters, Kayla (Raymond Unrath) Lybrook, Amber (Bobby) Rhodes and Destiny Spore; brother, William S. Lybrook Jr.; grandmother, Lynne Roddie; grandfather, Henry Lybrook; niece, Amber Unrath, nephew Sebastian Unrath, and many other nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and many other professional friends. Also survived by William Lybrook Sr.
Friends and family are welcome to Newcomer 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, on Saturday June 16, 2018 to visit from 10am until 12pm. A memorial service will take place at 12pm.
