William M. Sandy, Jr.
William M. Sandy, Jr., passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Wednesday, October 17, 2012. He was born on November 4, 1922 in Orlando, West Virginia to the late Willam and Wilda Sandy.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Clayton Sandy; sisters, Velora Smith, Virginia Lewis, and Vola Lea Riffle. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Wilma Sandy; brother, Vince (Sandra) Sandy of Florida; sisters, Violet Foutz of Cuyahoga Falls, and VermaRita (Gail) Sweiger of West Virginia; stepchildren, Mike (Liz) Hagerman of Munroe Falls and Jacqueline (Milton) Uselton of Akron; two grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staffs at Maison Aine and Great Lakes Caring Hospice for all the care given to William. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will take place Tuesday October 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillside Memorial Park, 1025 Canton Rd., Akron. Everyone please meet in the parking lot at Hillside.
