William Mack West "Paw-Paw"
William Mack West, 80, of Akron, passed away on June 7, 2010 and was reunited with his beloved wife, Marie; son, Billy; brother, Ike; and sister, Dorothy West Bartlett. Mack was a jack of all trades and there was not very much that he was unable to do. He was best known for his loving heart and funny antics and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind his daughter, Vickie (Mike) Roman; brother, Bobby Joe (Jean) West; grandchildren, Michael (Andrea) Roman and Shannon Stipe (B.J.); great-grandchildren, Chloe, Mason, Chance, and Serena; niece, Patsy Bartlett; and great-nephew, Brandon League. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Romig Rd., Akron.
