Bill McDevitt passed away peacefully at home in the early hours of August 22, 2008, six days before his 70th birthday. He is survived by his wife, Helen; his sister, Peggy (Tom) Byrne; his goddaughter, Mary Beth Byrne; several other family members and many, many friends. At his request, there will be no calling hours. Cremation has taken place.
