William H. Price, Sr., the child, was born to the late Richard H. Price and Dorothy Jane Price (Ewing) on October 16, 1954. He passed away on December 6, 2020. He was the youngest of four and his older sisters Leisa A. Ulasz (Walter) and Ella Mae Johnson (James) doted on him in his younger years while his older brother Raymond R. Price (Lori) was both the spitting image of him in looks and personality. Bill, the man, graduated from Farrell High School in Farrell, PA in the year 1972 and moved to Detroit to attend diesel mechanic school while his wife of 47 years, Christine A. Price (Kish), worked full time and planned their nuptials. They were married in October of 1973. Their bond was unique and unbreakable throughout their years together. Bill and Chris spent time with their devoted family friends Vito Mariano (deceased) and Judith Hackett-Mariano throughout their long marriage. Bill said his three children, William H. Price, Jr (Brandy); Carrie M. Price; and Amanda R. Campbell (Raymond), were the greatest accomplishments of their lives. "We did good, Chrissy." During his children's younger years, Bill, a Class A Journeyman Mechanic, decided to pursue a career in orthotics and graduated from Harmarville Technical Institute in 1985. Bill worked for over 19 years in the Akron area as a well-known and revered orthotist whose skill was sought after. Perhaps one of the largest highlights of his life was when his children produced grandchildren for him. He adored Neashell Campbell; Raymond Campbell, Jr (Amber); Dylaina R. Campbell; Isaiah C. Campbell; Elijah A. Campbell; and William H. Price, III. He was particularly thrilled when his grandchildren opted to give him his great-grandchildren Kristina N. Fullilove; Raymond M. Campbell, III; Kayden A. Campbell; and Kason R. Campbell. He was happiest when spending time with his family and loved the regular Sunday family dinners, weekend coffee, and sausage pizza with his father. Bill would always be seen wearing a fedora and sunglasses while singing loudly to 70s classic rock (Led Zeppelin anyone?) keeping key with Robert Plant while working on his muscle cars, rebuilding engines, and doing body work. Bill was never without Christine at his side and is missed dearly by all of us who love him. If so inclined, Bill would be honored by a donation to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, https://www.crohnscolitisfoundation.org. A celebration of Bill's life will be held at a later date.
