LAKEMORE—William Ray Wilson "Billy Bob", 61, on June 8, 2009, went to sleep and awoke in Jesus' arms. His body is no longer weary and he is now at rest. Born in Akron, OH, he resided the last 8 years in Lakemore with his wife. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He was owner/operator of Bill Wilson Trucking and later worked for the city of Akron. Bill accepted the Lord at an early age and was a great soldier of the cross. His greatest desire was to see lost souls saved! God gave him an anointed singing voice that touched many lives. He loved to sing for the Lord with the Praise and Worship Team at the Albrecht Ave. Church of God, where he was a member. One of his favorite pastimes was creating and tending to (with Karen and Kimmie) some of the most beautiful flower gardens on God's earth. He also enjoyed playing cards with his friend Jack and fishing with his buddy Ralph. He was loved by everyone that crossed his path here in this life. Preceded in death by his father and mother. He will be sadly missed by his loving and dedicated wife Karen. Survived also by his sister Rita (Rev. Jeffrey) Forsythe, of Findlay; brother Donnie, of Florida; his wife's family: Dale (Mary), Jim, David, Kimmie, Gina, Debbie (Paul), and many nieces, nephews, loving family members, and friends. Many thanks to the VA, Akron/ Canton Kidney Center, and Hospice of Summa for their special care. Thanks Kimmie for helping me take care of Bill. "Babe, you're no longer here, but you'll always be in my heart! I will miss your beautiful blue eyes!" SO SHARP! Calling hours will be Friday, 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral service Saturday, 12 p.m. at Albrecht Ave. Church of God. Interment will be TUESDAY, 1:30 p.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
