William Benjamin Rees
July 3, 1926 — July 8, 2021
William Benjamin Rees, age 95 of Akron passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, July 8, 2021. A lifelong resident of Akron, William was born to the late William and Lucy {Offerbaker} Rees.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary, their son, Charles, brother Harry (Rose) Rees, sister Eleanor (Gene) Spring.
William will be greatly missed by his surviving children Diana Burns, Ben (Linda) Rees and Lisa (Bernie Hendricks) Rees; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
William retired from Goodyear Aerospace after 37 years of service. He was member of the Goodyear Hunting & Fishing Club and the Goodyear Retirees Club. William was an avid fisherman and enjoyed planting his flowers.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Summa for all the care given to William.
