William Edward Rich, Sr.

William Edward Rich, Sr., "Bill", age 79, of Akron, Ohio, died on Saturday, February 18, 2017.
He was born on March 22, 1937, the son of the late Edward Francis Rich and Margaret Alwyn Eberle Rich Morrison.
Bill liked crossword puzzles, card games, golf, bowling, and family game nights. He especially enjoyed traveling and going to the Outer Banks with family.
Mr. Rich was an honorably discharged US Army National Guardsman.
Bill is survived by his wife, the former Delores Ann Radoichin, whom he married on August 30, 1961; his children, William Edward Rich, Jr. "Ed", Robert Patrick Rich "Bob", and Julie (Gary) Stone; his grandchildren, Krystal Andrews, Billy, Zach, Sean, Jacob, and Sarah Rich, Garrison and Eliza Stone; one great-granddaughter, Kiley Rich. Bill's brother also survives, Kenneth (Kathy) Rich.
Other than his parents, William was preceded in death by his step-father, Don Morrison; and his daughter-in-law, Pamela Rich on February 17, 2017.
Per Bill's request there will not be any calling hours or services and cremation will take place. All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home-Akron.
