William E. Robinson Iii

William "Bill" E. Robinson III, 65, of Suffield, passed away suddenly on December 28, 2022. He graduated from Field High School in 1975.

Bill spent his career as a truck driver and worked for the last ten years at Ace Doran in Cincinnati, Ohio. He drove team truck with his wife, Diana, for the last twenty years, and the two of them loved "playing tourist" and seeing the country together. Bill absolutely loved his job and the people he worked with and for.

Bill was a big kid who loved Minions and Charlie Brown. He was a lifelong train enthusiast and it was a hobby he shared with his grandson, Alex.

He was big hearted "grumpy bear" who fiercely loved his family and extended family.

Bill will be deeply missed by his wife of 45 years, Diana Robinson; son, William E. Robinson IV; daughter, Christina (Robert) Billings; grandson, Alexander Robinson; in-laws, Alice Collins, David and Patty Collins, Denise and Mike Mellinger; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will take place on Thursday January 5, 2023 from 10am until 12pm at Newcomer 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron. A funeral service will take place at 12pm. Interment to follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
