William Rock

William "Bill" Rock, 70, of Akron, passed away on April 12, 2022. He was born in Wadsworth, Ohio on November 1, 1951 to the late Gerald and Norma Jean Rock.
Bill retired from Wyant Woods Nursing Home after 40 years as a STNA. His co-workers and the residents were like a second family to him. In his free time, Bill loved taking care of his plants and the many pets he had over the years. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family and friends. Bill had a huge heart and never met a stranger. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Rock and sister, Jane Rock. He is survived by his sister, Dianna DiPolito; niece, Stacy (Reshard) Jackson; nephews, Richard (Janice) DiPolito, Robert (Corolla) Rock, and Rodney Rock; sister-in-law, Janice Rock; and many friends including his close friend, Dana.
Per Bill's wishes, there will be no formal services and he will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in Wadsworth.
