William "Bill" T. Shipley

William "Bill" T. Shipley passed away on October 15, 2018 after a short battle with cancer at the Cleveland Clinic Akron General Justin T. Rogers Hospice Center. Born on August 21, 1959 in Akron, Ohio to Ralph and Marcia (Harnar) Shipley. He was a graduate of Field High School and retired from Ohio Department of Transportation in 2010.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, Ralph, and father-in-law, Edward L. Shultz. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Lou Ellyn; mother, Marcia Shipley; daughter, Candy (Dave) Kolanski; sons, Joseph and Steven Shipley; grandchildren, Benjamin Kolanski, Reed Shipley, Drake Lanham; brothers, James (Keri), Thomas (Missy), Richard (Jeanne); mother-in-law, Jean Shultz; brother-in-law, Michael Shultz; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Per Bill's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at Marlboro Cemetery at a later date.
