William Perry Suggett
William Perry Suggett, 66, went to be with his Lord on January 11, 2008. He was born March 3, 1941 in Akron, OH. He was a graduate of Garfield High School and served in the Army from 1960 to 1964. William retired from the Akron Fire Department in 1992 after 25 years of service. Nascar and restoring vintage cars were some of his favorite hobbies. William was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Canton, OH and a member of the Akron Masonic Lodge. In addition to his wife Sandra Sue (Shumaker) Suggett, he is survived by two daughters, Carmen and Andrea (Don); son William J. (Jennifer); stepson Bob (Dianne); 10 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be Monday, 4-7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Canal-Lewisville, OH.
