William J. Zemlansky Jr., 52, of Akron, passed away on March 31, 2024. Bill was born on January 13, 1972 the son of William "Bill" and Deborah "Debbie" Zemlansky. He graduated from Akron North High School with the class of 1991, while there he excelled in football making First Team All City. Bill was a member of the Labor Union Local #1015 and worked as a mason. He was an avid sports fan choosing the hometown Ohio team with the exception of, and to his father's dismay, when he became a diehard Steelers fan at the tender age of four. He had a fair amount of struggles and he had many accomplishments but his greatest was his love for his family. He never failed to brighten up a room with his sense of humor, infectious smile, and love in his heart. He will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother Debbie Zemlansky; and numerous friends and loved ones.
Bill is survived by his loving family, father William "Bill" Zemlansky Sr.; sister Jennifer Zemlansky; and many dear relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 6th, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron) where Memorial Services will be held at 2:00pm with Pastor Terry Baker officiating.
