Willie "Billie" Mae Haggerty, 69, went home to the Lord on August 28, 2005. Preceded in death by her husband Winfred. Survivors include daughters Darlene (Al) Winchip, Lorraine (Rick) Moye, and Carmala (Dan) Heiple; sons Winfred, Jr. (Tina), and John (Mary); sisters Betty Jean Cilitti and Peggy (Ray) Souther; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and special friend Gretta Varner. Calling hours will be Thursday, 10 a.m. to noon at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. with a funeral service at noon. Interment at East Akron Cemetery.
