Wilma J. Black (nee Conley)
Wilma J. Black (nee Conley), 75, passed away on November 3, 2007. She was born on January 16, 1932 in Akron to the late Clyde and Estella Conley. Wilma will be remembered by her beloved family as a loving and caring individual who enjoyed life tremendously. She was an excellent cook and cherished her time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Wilma was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a volunteer at EJ Thomas Hall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother James Conley and stepson Richard Black. Survivors include her loving husband Kerby of 30 years; sons David (Margaret) Cummings and William (Donna) Cummings; stepson David Black; sister Nancy (Jim) Doyle; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous dear friends. Funeral service will be Wednesday, 2 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, Rev. Joyce Fast officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. Family and friends may call from Noon to 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
