Wilma, 84, passed away May 2, 2018 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's. A longtime Akron resident, she was born in Ridley Park, PA on March 13, 1934. Wilma retired from May Company after many years of service. She enjoyed playing euchre, jigsaw puzzles, and vacations at the ocean. Wilma is survived by her husband of 63 years, Kenny; daughter, Linda (Eric) Williams; grandchildren, Julie (Jason) Ball and Scott Williams; great-grandchildren, Eric and Evan Ball.
The family would like to thank the staff at Heather Knoll for the compassionate care she received, as well to Hospice of VNS for their care and support during her final months. Per her wishes cremation has taken place. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date. Contributions can be made to the Music Therapy or Volunteer Department at Hospice of VNS, 1 Akron General Ave., Akron, OH 44307.
