Yonzania ("Yonzi") Lamonica Jackson, 20 years old from Akron, Ohio passed away peacefully on April 30, 2021 after battling type-1 diabetes for most of her young life.
"Yonzi" as her family so lovingly calls her was born on September 22, 2000 to Yonzell Jackson and Patricia Dalton (passed away 2015) in the City of Akron, Ohio. Yonzi attended East Community Learning Center High School in Akron and graduated in 2019 alongside her twin brother Yonzell Jackson, Jr. with aspirations to do something big with her life.
She had a passion for fashion, loved shopping, music, art, and writing. Yonzania had a true hustlers attitude and worked hard for everything she had. Whether it was taking orders at KFC or driving for Uber she did it all with integrity. Yonzi was down-to-earth, loved to joke and clown around, and was never afraid to speak her mind.
If she knew someone needed help she would give her last, if they needed a ride she would provide that too, she was set on making positive impacts on people's lives even when she was struggling and in pain herself. Yonzi was a little thing, but her heart made it seem like she was ten-feet tall. It was just in her to step up to the plate if anything needed to be done. That was just Yonzi.
Yonzi's memory will forever be cherished by her grandmother Bessie (Willie) Boyd who stepped in and stepped up after her daughter Patricia passed to be the rock that her grandchildren needed. Her twin brother, Yonzell Jackson, Jr. (who Yonzi was one minute older than and always let that be known), her baby sister Yonzanae Jackson, her uncle Clarence (Migdalia) Dalton, her uncle Derrick (deceased) (Renita) Dalton, beloved cousins who are more like brothers and sisters, and a host of friends that are too many to count if you go by the following on her Facebook page.
