Yvonne Ann Seevers
Yvonne Ann Seevers, 71, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord on November 16, 2008. Yvonne was born January 17, 1937 to the late William and Irene Hiney. She was employed for many years as a bookkeeper, first with Ken Tool and later with Thermo-Rite. She served as a foster mother and provided respite care for Hattie Larlham. Yvonne attended Akron Baptist Temple for many years. She was a devoted mom and grandma and will always be remembered as a very caring and generous person. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Hiney; and foster daughter, Colleen. She will be deeply missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Tobie and Nick Murat; grandchildren, Tyler and Tanner Murat; uncle, Donald (Mary) Bickler; aunts, Bea Dills, Eva Hiney, and Alberta Ginn; many cousins, including Dee (Dick) Coffman; nephew, Billy; niece, Roxanne; and many friends. Yvonne's family would like to thank all the doctors and staff at Barberton ICU and Hospice Care Center for all the care given to her. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. If desired, flower arrangements may be sent to Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
