Yvonne Rexrode, 92, passed away on July 16, 2018. A long-time resident of the Akron/Brimfield area, she was born September 11, 1925. Yvonne loved spending time with her grandchildren and was an active member for many years at the First Church of God in Tallmadge.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Richard; daughter, Rebecca Bowman; and sister, Betty Scheck. She is survived by her sons, Rick (Karen), John (John), Bill (Tina); son-in-law, Roger Bowman; grandchildren, Chip (Lisa), Mindy (Tony), Neal, Audra, Natalie, Ethan, Alyssa; and her many friends at church.
Per her wishes cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
