Yvonne will be remembered first for her Love of God and of family. She touched the lives of many. You could find her in church on Sunday and working in her garden on any hot Summer day.
Yvonne, age 68, went home to be with the Lord on January 24, 2019 suddenly at Cleveland Clinic Akron General. Born in Yantley, Alabama, native of Detroit, Michigan, and residing in Akron, Ohio for over 30 years. She was a dedicated member of Chapel of Faith Church, the late Pastor Cecelia Ross, and in her passing, she was a dedicated member of Church of God MPGT, Pastor Henry Brunson.
Funeral Services will be held at Church of God MPGT, 200 Cole Avenue, Akron, Ohio 44301 on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Family and friends may visit at the church on Saturday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM.
Condolences may be sent to 453 Homer Avenue, Akron, Ohio 44320.
Burial will take place at Glendale Cemetery, Akron.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron.
