Yvonne Annette Zene

Yvonne Annette Zene, 51, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord on June 12, 2017. Yvonne was born in Chattanooga, TN on June 4, 1966 to Matthew Zene Jr. and Doris Zene (nee Derrick). She graduated from Garfield High School in 1984 and attended Hammel College. She was employed at Target for over 20 years. Yvonne was a faithful member of Faith Temple Church of the Living God for over 40 years, where she sang in the choir. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Dorthena Zene.
She will be deeply missed by her loving parents, Matthew Zene Jr. and Doris Zene; beloved siblings, Matthew Zene III and Cynthia Zene; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation for one hour prior at Faith Temple Church of the Living God, 701 Sylvan Ave., Akron, OH 44306 with Minister Benjamin Drone officiating.
