Zelma L Stewart, 77, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2012. She was born to Marshall and America Mullins on February 5, 1935 in Winifrede, WV. Zelma came to Akron in 1955 with her husband Roland and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Billy; daughter, Norma Jean; brother, Jerry; sister, Leatha; granddaughter, Theresa.
Zelma is survived by son, Robert; daughters, Barbara (Tony) Tomin, Angela (Mike) Bechter; Linda Suncire, Diana (Ken) Oles; brothers, Tommy (Brenda), Frank (Cheryl), Everett (Mary), Ray (Claudette); sisters, Molly, Dolly, Patsy, Deann; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; special friends, Rick and Val.
Mom, you will be greatly missed by all of your family.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, March 29 from 5-7 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held on Friday, March 30 at 11.
Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
