Zoe Lynn Pastis, born on July 25, 1978 in Akron, Ohio, passed away in her home on the morning of September 20, 2022.
Zoe's larger than life personality and beautiful smile made it so easy to love her and so many did. She was both beautiful inside and out, lit up the room when she walked in and people were drawn to her. Zoe was an amazing artist, she truly enjoyed sharing and expressing her passions through all of her artwork. She also had a knack for finding lost treasures and reinventing them, that was the true artist in her. Zoe had a great love for all animals, but she really adored her dogs, especially Dibbs. She always surrounded herself with her family and friends, for which she will be greatly missed by. She most recently found that she enjoyed working in her "cottage garden", it was something that brought her peace and solitude, a break away from it all. The Greek meaning of the name Zoe means Life and she fiercely lived hers to the fullest, on her own terms and exactly how she wanted to live it. She left a mark on all of those she met, Zoe was, and always will be unforgettable.
Zoe loved her family, she is preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Gus and Ruth Pastis.
She is survived by her father and stepmom, Michael and Dottie Pastis; her sisters, Sarah Campbell (Jody) and Erica Pastis (Oren); and her nieces and nephews Adina, Talia, Ronen, Aryeh, and Iliad.
There will be a celebration of life held on Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 4:00 -7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH.
