Diana L. Legg, 65, passed away on September 9, 2023. She was born on March 19, 1958 in Akron, Ohio. She retired after 25 years of dedicated service from Ravenna Lamp Plant GE. Diana enjoyed gardening and attending to her beautiful flowers. She was a devoted Grandma never missing a game or sporting events. She will always be remembered for her loving heart, compassion, and sense of humor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Bob Horvatic; beloved daughter Deanna Miller; sister Sandy Schawben; father-in-law James Legg; and mother-in-law Barbara Legg.
Diana is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Richard B. Legg; son Richard (Sara) Legg; daughter Angela (Bernie) Reed; grandchildren Ricky Legg, Ashley Legg, Hannah Reed, Hailey Reed, Hunter Reed, Tyler Miller, Chloe Miller, and Dominic Viscusi; sisters Esther, Brenda, and Debbie; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held Monday (September 18th) from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron) where services will be held Tuesday at 11:00am with Pastor Vince Maltempi officiating.
Interment will be held at Restlawn Cemtery.
